MACOM seeks a seasoned, well rounded, electrical engineer with experience designing various mixed signal circuits, including power supplies, analog and digital control logic, state machines, to be used with RF systems ranging from VHF to mmWave, Watts to Kilowatts of power. Strong knowledge of analog control theory and circuits (op amps, comparators, analog logic), digital control systems and interfaces (I2C, CAN) required. Experience with microprocessors, single board computers, CPLDs, FPGA is highly desirable. Previous experience with multilayer board design with mixed signal analog/digital highly desirable.

Provide leadership and expertise to implement, improve and maintain Aerospace and Automotive quality systems including compliance to AS9100D and IATF16949 standards. Educate cross functional departments on the appropriate execution of QMS requirements. Direct and facilitate the implementation of new quality systems initiatives or improvements.

Demonstrated successful track record of silicon success in blocks/products such as Gbps equalizers, CDRs, PLLs, laser drivers, transimpedance amplifiers, ADCs and DACs. Solid understanding of analog and high frequency design fundamentals.

The Photonics Design Engineer, Senior/Principal will utilize in depth knowledge to develop, design, maintain, or improve optoelectronic modules, subsystems, or products, for Commercial, Aerospace & Defense applications. Will demonstrate conceptual and practical expertise in analog photonic design challenges and basic knowledge of related disciplines.

The Quality Engineer – Senior will be responsible for direct tactical support of the Hi – Reliability business supporting the Diode and MMIC Business Units. The scope will be limited to silicon diodes and components initially (standard commercial and space level qualified) and related products. Additional support of the site quality system and continuous improvement initiatives will also be required.
