The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) is a bipartisan, nonprofit policy research organization dedicated to providing strategic insights and policy solutions to help decision makers chart a course toward a better world. Founded in 1962, CSIS is headquartered in Washington, D.C. and has a staff of more than 250 employees. The organization conducts research and analysis on a wide range of topics, including defense and security, economics and trade, energy and climate change, global health, and technology and innovation.
