Bob Kuhl, who will soon retire from AirBorn after nearly 2 decades of service, fittingly inaugurates our AirBorn Employee Spotlight feature on social media. Bobs career at AirBorn began as a Sales VP and he remained heavily involved in all Sales and Marketing strategies throughout his tenure. Taking a look back at his time at AirBorn, Bob exclaimed our products and our people are what I enjoyed most about working for AirBorn. I have found most of our customers genuinely enjoy doing business with us, but perhaps the real reason AirBorn is designated a key supplier is because customers make more money when AirBorn components are designed into their products. When prompted for his most memorable AirBorn experience, Bob recalled one particular poignant sales call. A customer asked why does the other guys Micro D connector cover pop off and AirBorns does not? I told him that the answer is propriety. Keep in mind, there are more than 20 others ways a Micro D can fail, and all potential issues and preventative measures were factored into the AirBorn design. The customer then realized after a few moments that AirBorns connectors can mate with other guys, but they arent equal and they dont fail. Please join me in wishing Bob a restful and enjoyable retirement. Hes earned that as well as our gratitude.
