Office building-climbing raccoon shows us the meaning of perseverance

I couldn’t make this up. A furry critter was spotted on the Town Square Office building in St. Paul, Minnesota on Monday, before ignoring a rescue attempt on Tuesday, according to Minnesota Public Radio.

This poor raccoon apparently got itself stranded on a ledge of the Town Square office building in downtown St. Paul, likely on an errant mission to raid pigeon nests on the skyway over 7th Street. It's been there for two days now, without food or water. @mprnews pic.twitter.com/fVI5pmdCWq

The raccoon wasn’t having it and decided to climb up the side of the UBS Plaza building instead. But here’s the thing: The structure is reportedly a whopping 25 stories high.

Thankfully, the raccoon made it to the top

But never fear! The animal is apparently safe and sound as of today.
