Health & Safety Engineers are dedicated to keeping workers safe in the workplace. They inspect businesses to ensure relevant health and safety practices have been implemented and are being enforced. Manufacturing and production environments are key areas where health and safety inspectors work, due to dangerous conditions such as heavy machinery and vehicles moving heavy cargo. However, health and safety policies exist in all modern workplaces. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or possibly a master’s degree in a related subject.
