Marketing Analysts play a critical role in marketing teams. They bring together sales data, usually categorized into new and historic, compared by season or demographic, or used in strategic combinations to ascertain what customers want, when they want it, how much they are willing to pay, and more. Time and money can be saved through good marketing analysis, bad habits corrected, and new methods and strategies devised and executed. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in statistics, math or computer science, and ideally an MBA or master’s in marketing research or related topic.
