Full Job Description
*THE SELECTED CANDIDATE WILL BE OFFERED A SALARY OF $90.000.00*

The duties and responsibilities of the OYDS -Youth Justice Specialist Supervisor will include, but will not be limited to:

-Supervising staff that track youth placed in detention, close to home and adult facilities to manage permanency outcomes.
-Manage key policies and guidance's for crossover youth.
-Complete case reviews for crossover youth
-Managing cases that go from pre-dispo to post-dispo with the provider agencies.
-Participate/Facilitate planning meetings and conferences
-Provide supportive monitoring for youth in detention, close to home, Rikers Island and State/Federal prison
-Going into the community to engage youth with services
-Support efforts to link youth/family educational/vocational supports
-Provides case specific consultation as it relates to youth incarcerated and requiring Crossover Youth Practice Model.
-Provides linkages to internal ACS units such as housing, education and employment.
-Participates in family team conferences and case specific conferences.
-Provides clarity regarding the role and responsibility of each stakeholder.
-Collaborates with Family Service Unit/Division of Child Protection, when required
