Workday ConsultantPosition type: Full-time (Contract)Duration: 6 Months (Possi. Ext.)Location: Minneapolis MN or Charlotte NC CIC (3 Days onsite) As a Workday Consultant, you will:- Provides technology support for team member focused applications and processes.
- Support Workday Engineering functions for our Compensation product team, to deliver a compliant workday extend solution.
- Work on critical US and global Compensation extend projects that deliver incremental changes to product working in an Agile environment.
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Support the planning and sizing of development items for sprint planning
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Develop, configure, and maintain integrations for assigned product(s) in Workday
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
The ideal candidate will have: - HR systems experience (e.g. PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP or Workday)2+ years of business systems analysis or design experience
- Technology release or implementation experience
- Workday development experience, including integrations
- EIB's, Core Connectors, Studio,
- Reporting Report Writer, Advanced Reporting
Desired Qualifications:- Workday or other HR systems Compensation experience
- Experience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting and query tools
- Experience/Knowledge in Adaptive Workforce Planning, Modeling, Sheets, Reports and Dashboards
- Knowledge of Adaptive security, permission sets, user groups, access rules
- Experience in setting up integration between HCM and Adaptive, User sync and SSO
- Knowledge and understanding of Agile
- Ability to shift priorities as workflow/volume dictates
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
- Workday Extend development experience
