  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment like spectrum analyzers and network analyzers for testing purposes.
  • Skilled in debugging automation tools and test scripts, particularly in Python, Matlab, or C/C++.
  • Knowledge of both emerging and established wireless communication protocols.

  • Develop and execute test cases for various sub-domains within the 5G solutions team.
  • Translate system requirements into practical test procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineers and managers to prioritize testing of development Epics.
  • Ensure integration and validation of features aligns with specified requirements.
  • Participate in early technical studies and the validation of prototypes.
  • Analyze test metrics and report findings to improve testing processes.
  • Utilize lab equipment effectively for testing and debugging purposes.

Full Job Description
Required Skills:
  • The feature Tester/system tester has end-to-end responsibility for the testing of specific sub-functional domains/areas (e.g. OAM, Orchestration, Automation, Mobility, etc.) within the 5G solutions team.
  • This includes developing test cases/procedures of modules/functionality, translating functional and non-functional system requirements to functional/system test cases.
  • In collaboration with System engineers, program managers, developers identifies the scope and priority of development Epics to be validated.
  • Has end-to-end responsibility for the features in his/her domain and works with development & system engineering, to make sure integration and validation of feature/functionality is completed and verified according to functional/non-functional requirement.
  • Works with multiple team teams during early phases to understand technical studies and validate prototypes.
  • Understanding of communication theory and key metrics like EVM and sensitivity.
  • Experience using and understanding of the theory of operation of lab equipment (spectrum analyzer, signal generator, network analyzer, power meter).
  • Experience debugging test automation including equipment drivers, debug tools, automation scripts, database interfaces, and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge in existing wireless communication protocols: LTE/WCDMA/GSM, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, 802.11ad/ay or Bluetooth/BLE.
  • Experience completing and debugging test software in Python, Matlab, and/or C/C++. "
