Title: Customer Service Manager
Location: East Alton, IL
Salary: $124,980 to $130,020 (depending on relevant experience)

Schedule: Onsite

Focus: The Customer Service Manager will lead the Winchester Customer Service department to consistently deliver high-quality service and accuracy across all ammunition customers. This leader ensures customer orders flow seamlessly through SAP, supports sales and profitability goals, and continually enhances processes to maximize customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.

Customer Service Manager Essential Functions:
  • This role oversees and manages the following areas:
    • Customer Master setup and maintenance in SAP, ensuring correct trade channel assignments and pricing procedures.
    • Product allocation to support accurate order processing and timely shipment expediting.
    • Federal Excise Tax (FET) claim processing.
    • Program deviations involving pricing and periodic term updates.
    • Customer Material Info Records (CMIR) to ensure proper routing to White Flyer plants.
    • Blocked billings and IDOC errors across trade channels.
    • SAP material setup and maintenance activities.
  • Lead customer dispute resolution, including analysis of deductions, root-cause identification, and corrective action development.
  • Ensure compliance with sales programs, special programs, discounts, and quarterly/annual rebate processes.
  • Review and maintain accurate pricing (standard and deviated) across all trade channels.
  • Direct Power Business Intelligence (BI) reporting for customer orders, program management, inventory analysis, and rebate data extraction.
  • Partner with the SAP team to improve business processes and system performance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce cost.
  • Serve as Assessor for the Revenue Business Process within Olin's SOX Risk Control Tracking System.


Customer Service Manager Position Requirements:
  • Must meet one of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree*; Business or Marketing preferred, plus a minimum three years of experience in marketing, customer service, or account management, including two years of leadership experience; OR
    • High school diploma or equivalent with seven years of experience in marketing, customer service, or account management, including at least two years of leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams in a results-driven environment, including setting priorities, managing performance, and achieving operational or business objectives.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and SAP; Power BI experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication (verbal and written), facilitation, interpersonal, organizational, presentation, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume workload, handle multiple tasks, adapt to changing demands, and collaborate effectively to drive team success.


Location-Specific Requirements:
  • This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.

*Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university.
