Job PurposeSupport the Project and Tender team within the disciplines of the Core Technologies group. Assure that the project meets the client requirements, focusing on Simplification, Standardization, and Industrialization (SSI) of metallic materials welding and fabrication processes. This role will assist various projects across TechnipFMC, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and innovation. The Welding and Fabrication Engineer will also provide customer support to both internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description- Support the System Level Materials Lead engineer during the project and tender phases as welding expert.
- Support the engineering during the design and execution of the projects.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on Welding engineering, fabrication techniques, and quality control.
- Assist in initiatives focused on Simplification, Standardization, and Industrialization (SSI) of materials and processes.
- Contribute to product development and qualification efforts.
- Support supplier qualification and industrialization processes.
- Conduct technical audits during the project to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of welding and fabrication strategies with project goals.
- Support the life cycle of all products and systems, applying expertise in materials science, metallurgy, welding, and NDT.
- Engage in technical negotiations with clients and suppliers as needed.
- Participate in product and process development activities, particularly related to materials, welding technologies
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in materials science and fabrication technologies.
You are meant for this job if:Essential Professional Qualification / Experience:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Welding engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in metallic materials welding and fabrication processes.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes & technologies, material properties, testing methods, and fabrication techniques and NDT processes.
- Experience with industry standards and regulations related to welding and fabrication.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Desirable Professional Qualification / Experience:- Experience with advanced fabrication techniques.
- Knowledge of corrosion and sour grade materials.

- Understanding of the full delivery scope (SURF, SPS, and Services) of iEPCI projects.
