OverviewWe are seeking a talented Web UI Developer to join our team to design, implement, and maintain web applications for seccureWISE administrators and end users. The ideal candidate will have strong skills and proven experience with requirements gathering, design, implementation, and support of existing and new applications and will thrive in a fast-paced environment where performance, scalability, and user experience are critical. You'll collaborate with backend engineers, data scientists, UX designers, and quality assurance professionals to build features that are critical to our customers' processes. As an integral member of an Agile/Scrum development team, you will contribute to iterative development cycles and build deep expertise with secureWISE products.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and support existing web applications using , HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, Bootstrap, JQuery, JSP, Struts, EJB, Groovy, and a variety of JQuery plugins
- Write clean, scalable, performant, and well-documented code
- Develop modules for existing Vue.js applications and develop modular and reusable components and libraries
- Follow and improve our design, verification, build and release processes
- Work with architects, project management, business owners, and other engineers to estimate, plan, design, test, and release new solutions according to agreed-upon specifications
- Work with the manual and automated test teams to ensure efficient testing of the web applications
- Keep abreast of new methodologies and frameworks in web development
- Mentor other developers for best development practices and provides technical assistance
- Work independently and collaborate well with others
- Work as part of an Agile/Scrum development team
- Build experience with, and a deep understanding of, secureWISE products
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in front-end web development
- Proficient with Vue.js, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap UI
- Experience in responsive web application development
- Proactive collaboration skills (meetings, interactions, presentations), online and in person
- English verbal and written communication skills
- Familiar with IntelliJ IDEA or similar integrated development environment
- Experience with leveraging artificial intelligence-based tools for decreasing development time and increasing quality
- Experience with JIRA or similar issue tracking systems
- Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
- Git proficiency with experience in collaborative workflows, branching strategies, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
Nice to Have
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Spock, Fit, HTML Unit, Selenium
- Experience with virtual machine environments such as AWS, VMWare, and Proxmox
- Experience with remote access software
- Experience with application testing for mobile devices
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
