DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Weapon System Cyber Security Engineering Architect to join our Sentinel architects team. As a key technical leader, you will be on the forefront of establishing how the overall Weapon System cyber security architecture integrates into the overall Weapon System architecture. You'll be deeply involved in understanding Customer and stakeholders needs, translating their challenges into current and future solutions that enable mission success from architecture and design, through test and accreditation & certification.
The ideal candidate will be a recognized expert in cyber security engineering and delivered a weapon system, with extensive experience in architecting secure weapon systems that include platforms (hardware and software), networked command and control systems, custom hardware, software/digital implementations, and infrastructure management/monitoring and applications.
This role will require close collaboration with large and complex teams across diverse geographic regions.

Job Responsibilities (but not limited to
): - Serve as primary Customer interface for cyber architecture and related requirements, capabilities, and translate into overall weapon system cyber architecture to ensure common cyber messaging
- Ensure weapon system cyber architecture technical baseline of associated segments/elements and interfaces meets and evolves to mission needs
- Develop and maintain deep customer relationships to translate customer problems into current and future cyber solutions from architecture through test and certification
- Own overall Weapon System Cyber architecture vision in close collaboration with key stakeholders (e.g. domain architects & SMEs, Chief Engineers, System Thread Leads)
- Integrate CONOPS and OPSCON and user mission needs into weapon system cyber KPPs, capabilities, limits and constraints, and associated TPMs
- Integrate core cyber competencies and capabilities into weapon system architecture
- Ensure cyber technical alignment of concurrent or other related programs and product lines
- Technical authority on cyber related risks, threats, opportunities
- Co-chair Cyber Security Working Group with Customer
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other technical/science discipline with 16 years of relevant experience; master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or other technical/science discipline with 14 years of relevant experience; PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other technical/science discipline with 12 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated cyber experience architecting, designing, and delivering a large-scale and complex weapon system
- Expert level knowledge of Weapon System Cyber Architecture, including advanced knowledge of large complex platforms (hardware and software), networked command and control systems, custom hardware, software/digital implementations, infrastructure management/monitoring and applications for very large-scale development programs
- 10 years of experience in Weapon System Cyber architecture roles on complex large scale $50M+ programs designing, implementing, and/or operating cyber security protections for weapon systems and/or supporting mission systems and networks
- 10 years' proven experience in Systems Engineering leadership roles covering all phases of the Systems Engineering lifecycle, including delivery
- Knowledge of and/or experience with Cyber Security Risk Management Construct and/or Cyber Survivability Endorsement Implementation Guide
- Knowledge of US National Defense Strategy (NDS) in regard to the US Strategic Deterrent strategy
- Working experience with US Government Cyber Developmental Test and Evaluation and/or Operational Test and Evaluation
- US Citizenship required
- A current/active US Government Secret clearance
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Top Secret w/SCI clearance
- The ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval

Primary Level Salary Range: $183,200.00 - $274,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
