Job Description:The Product Strategy Assistant Vice President for Wealth R&D will play a central role in defining, shaping, and executing next-generation wealth platform solutions. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, product design, and commercial alignment, supporting the evolution of such solution from early-stage concept through V1 and scaled deployment. The AVP will work across internal teams and external partners to ensure the product roadmap is strategically coherent, technically viable, and economically sustainable.
Key ResponsibilitiesWithin this product strategy role, you will play a key role in supporting product roadmap definition and driving forward product execution. Your responsibilities will be to:
- Act as the connective layer across product, engineering, and external partners to drive product execution and deployment forward
- Own alignment of the product roadmap with financial models, funding strategy, and long-term economics through partnership and iteration with finance leadership
- Own project management for product-related workstreams, ensuring clear task tracking, prioritization, and delivery against key milestones
- Own cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment across internal and external teams, developing executive-level materials and narratives to support key decisions, communicate progress, and drive the product forward
- Support front-end design partners and engineers to translate product vision and user workflows into executable design, ensuring product requirements are met throughout design process
- Contribute to the definition of key product milestones, assisting the translation of strategic priorities into a structured execution plan and actionable product roadmap
- Evaluate vendor pricing, ROI, and cost structures as part of overall platform build vs. partner decisions
- Assist alignment between product design and underlying platform architecture, including data flows, AI capabilities, and orchestration layers
- Assess integration feasibility, scalability, and operational requirements across partners (e.g., account aggregation, rollover solutions, custody solutions etc.)

Education & Preferred Qualifications- 3-4+ years of direct experience with investment technology and/or wealth management
- Direct experience with product roadmap development, vendor evaluation and selection, and end to end system management. Preferably experience with defining product strategy for consumer-facing applications.
- Experience with financial modeling, business case development, or investment planning tied to product initiatives
- Experience working on complex platform products or ecosystems (multi-journey, multi-user environments
- Familiarity with AI-enabled product design and implications for user experience (e.g., explainability, decision support)
- Strong communication skills with experience creating executive-level materials and driving decision forums
Salary Range: $80,000 - $140,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
