Qualifications

• Two or four-year degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in supervising/managing heavy civil construction projects ($25-$75M).
• Knowledge of all construction disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.).
• Familiarity with cost control, manpower planning, and scheduling.
• Experience with project closeout and punch list management.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and relevant computer systems.
• Strong relationship-building skills with Owners and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise major work activities including site work and equipment installation.
• Plan and oversee employees and subcontractors' activities, including reviewing construction methods and schedules.
• Coordinate assigned work with that of employees and subcontractors.
• Liaise with engineering and project management to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Assist in resolving construction challenges such as productivity and work interfaces.
• Monitor compliance with project safety requirements and implement corrective measures.
• Inspect work to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.
