Full Job Description
Position Description

Leads warranty reduction teams to identify root cause of failures, develop design and manufacturing corrective actions and leads implementation. Prepares reports on complex warranty data and tracks project updates to completion. Provides technical expertise to warranty technicians and resents counter measures of warranty issues to senior management.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develops engineering specifications and processes on dissembling and analyzing packs.
  2. Develops engineering and test station specifications and processes to analyze warranty packs, and to process refurbish returned packs into functionable service packs.
  3. Leads root cause analysis and countermeasure solutions through analyzing complex warranty trend data and the use of central engineering teams.
  4. Provides warranty and service history feedback to new product engineering teams
  5. Leads Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) activities
  6. Provides expertise on claims data and recommends solutions to close the loop on confirmed corrective actions of quality issues
  7. Participates in and/or leads repair teams to resolve service issues
  8. Performs other duties as assigned
