Oversee and supervise the scheduling production, monitoring and adjusting of the forecast to meet an optimum level of finished goods inventory. Assign priorities for shipping products to branches. Maintain a proper level of raw materials for production.
Job Description
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: List the essential job responsibilities in descending order of importance.
1.
Coordinate production scheduling, monitoring and adjusting the forecast to meet the business needs.
2.
Monitor and ensure adequate inventory level for all branches to meet the business's service level.
3.
Prepare WIP reports in AS400.
4.
Coordinate with Warehouse team and set shipping priority according to consumption rate for each branch.
5.
Ensure adequate raw materials availability for production.
6.
Lead day-to-day activities of team. Assign, monitor and review progress and accuracy of work, direct efforts and provide technical guidance on more complex issues. Provide input into hiring, firing, and performance reviews.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: List minimum education, certification, years of experience, etc. which are required to perform the job.
Education
High school degree or equivalent.
Relevant Work Experience
At least 3 years experience in operations and supply chain management.
Additional
Strong background in operations.
Intermediate skill level Microsoft Windows, AS400 and SAP.
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: List any preferred education, certifications, years of experience, etc.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or equivalent.
The anticipated salary range for this position:
$79,000.00 - $119,000.00 Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
