This position leads and develops warehouse personnel, drives inventory accuracy, ensures safe and efficient operations, and works closely with Parts, Service, and Sales to support our customers and the overall success of the business.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who sees problems as opportunities to improve, takes responsibility for results, and is willing to step in wherever needed to help the team succeed.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead daily warehouse, inventory, shipping, and receiving operations with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to customer service.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop warehouse employees through servant leadership, setting clear expectations while helping employees succeed.

• Utilize and become proficient in Kimball's ERP and inventory management systems to manage inventory, transactions, reporting, and operational performance.
• Coordinate freight, deliveries, and branch transfers to ensure parts and materials are where they need to be when they need to be there.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and efficient warehouse operation.
• Remain curious about how and why processes work and actively look for better ways to operate.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical solutions that improve productivity, accuracy, and service.
• Be the solution, not the problem by taking ownership of challenges and working through them rather than waiting for someone else to act.
• Work in solidarity with Parts, Service, Sales, and other Kimball locations, putting company objectives ahead of departmental or individual interests.
• Sell or help someone who does by recognizing that accurate inventory, timely shipments, and strong warehouse execution directly support our customers and sales organization.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, safety, and a positive attitude while maintaining optimism and high ambition for what the team can accomplish

The Person We're Looking For

The right candidate will not be satisfied simply maintaining the warehouse as it operates today. We want someone who will take ownership of it, develop the people within it, and leave it better than they found it.

If you are a hands-on leader who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, developing people, and being accountable for results, we want to hear from you.
