Join GALLO's Operations Management Development Program and build a dynamic career in Operations through hands-on experience, leadership development, and meaningful business impact. This rotational program is designed for high-potential leaders who are ready to learn across functions, take on real business challenges, and grow their understanding of how our operations teams deliver results.
In this role, you'll rotate through a variety of leadership and technical assignments that may include winery and spirits plant operations, harvest operations, maintenance, supply chain, quality, performance engineering, EHS, sales, IT product teams, or Lean Six Sigma initiatives. Along the way, you'll gain exposure to operating procedures, policies, projects, and performance goals while developing solutions that support safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
You'll collaborate with teams across multiple sites, communicate project status, support process improvements, and develop the skills needed to lead people, manage work, and make informed operational decisions. Two of the three rotational assignments are expected to be in Team Leader roles with hourly direct report responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to develop, coach, and mentor others while building a strong foundation for future leadership at GALLO.
What You'll Need
- Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university and working towards a Bachelor's or Masters degree Supply Chain, Business Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Engineering Management; OR possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Operations Management, Engineering or Engineering Management; OR Currently enrolled or have obtained a Bachelor's or Masters degree plus a manufacturing internship or including our Cultivate Internship Program.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary.
- Availability to work at different sites or locations throughout program rotations; moving may be necessary to fulfill the role.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
How You'll Stand Out
- Prior internship experience, especially in operations, manufacturing, project or process management, CPG manufacturing systems, winery or beverage manufacturing systems, agricultural equipment and infrastructure systems, glass manufacturing systems, or R&D stage gate processes.
- Senior Class standing at an accredited college or university working towards a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering or Engineering Management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with strong enlisting and engaging skills, excellent oral and written communication, and excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Wine/Spirits/beverages knowledge, including fermentation science, separations, winery processes, wine chemistry, new product development/innovation, food safety, and HAACP.

- We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
