Daikin Applied is seeking a
Material Flow Manager to oversee the movement of goods from procurement through production to finished products, ensuring optimal inventory levels, high accuracy, and efficient supply chain operations.
Location: Staunton, VA - In-Office
Your Responsibilities:- Manage, evaluate, and develop material flow supervisors and staff responsible for receiving, replenishment, material movement, and loading
- Manage warehouse logistics and optimize material movement to production lines
- Ensure material availability at the point of use to avoid production disruptions
- Drive lean manufacturing initiatives, optimize material replenishment, and implement best practices for material handling and packaging
- Coordinate with procurement and production planning to manage material flow suppliers to the warehouse and through the production process
- Enforce safety regulations, maintain a clean/organized storage area, and manage regulatory compliance
- Develop strategies for efficient material flow, storage, and space utilization
- Coordinate with and manage teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to/removal of waste from production areas
- Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams
- Supervise receiving and warehouse management systems
- Implement safety protocols
- Track key metrics
Your Qualifications:- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree in related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of related experience in logistics, supply chain management, and material flow planning
- 3+ years of direct supervisory experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in ERP systems, material replenishment software, and data analysis tools

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $80,400 to $136,800 plus annual bonus in VA. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
