Job Overview:

We are looking to hire a VP, Software Development Manager in the Technology organization. This role will focus on LPL's Move Money platform, requiring deep understanding of financial transactions, money movement workflows, regulatory compliance, and payment systems. This position will help solution business requirements and develop technology solutions to support product roadmaps and LPL's vision. This position will involve close collaboration with business partners, Architects, Quality Assurance, Release Management, and the Change Control board to plan, design, develop and implement solutions for these needs.
Responsibilities:

The candidate should be capable of designing and developing timely, high quality products, with state of the art user interfaces to best solution these needs, and have the drive to ensure that the vision and success criteria are met within budget and schedule constraints. This is technology manager role overseeing a team of software engineers.
  • Design, develop, test, tune and implement n-tiered web-based applications with focus on complex UI and Database development.
  • Build, troubleshoot, optimize and improve existing and new web applications and systems supporting money movement and financial transaction workflows.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration sessions with business partners, architects, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences, adapting communication style to audience needs.
  • Mentor and develop team members through effective communication, coaching, and technical guidance.
  • Assist management in technical assessment of risks and issues, and document recommendations.
  • Support the production of technical documentation in accordance with SDLC guidelines.
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of product/project support.
  • Develop solutions according to enterprise standards.
  • Present solutions in code review meetings and architecture review boards.
  • Design and develop core services and components with expertise in service-oriented architecture.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and advanced debug support.
  • Evaluate new design proposals, investigate and recommend solutions and process improvements that deliver services with high scalability and performance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, IT or related field

5+ years of experience managing team/s of direct reports

7+ years of .NET experience

5+ years SQL server experience

3+ year(s) AWS experience

AI/ML experience is MUST

Pay Range:
$155,300.00 - $258,800.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
