About the Team

The Vice President, Professional Services is responsible for leading Kinaxis’ North America Professional Services team and ensuring successful delivery of complex enterprise software implementations and outcomes for our customers.

 

This senior leadership role is at the center of how customers realize value from their investment in Kinaxis. The VP is accountable for driving customer outcomes, delivery excellence, operational performance, and organizational capability across a portfolio of strategic customer engagements. Working closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Support, and strategic partners, this leader will ensure customers achieve measurable business value while supporting the continued growth, scale and evolution of our services organization.

 

This role is ideal for an experienced services executive who has led large-scale consulting or software delivery organizations and is passionate about developing high-performing teams, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

 

Lead, Coach and Develop a High-Performing Services Organization

  • Provide strategic leadership and clear direction across the North America team.
  • Build, develop, and retain high-performing leaders and delivery teams.
  • Strengthen organizational capability in solution leadership, industry expertise, and delivery excellence.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.

 

Deliver Outstanding Customer Outcomes

  • Oversee the successful delivery of enterprise software implementations across NA, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standard.
  • Partner with customers and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction, platform adoption, and long-term value realization.
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for strategic customer relationships, helping navigate complex challenges and ensuring successful business outcomes.
  • Create referenceable customers through successful implementations, adoption, and measurable business impact.

Drive Operational Excellence and Scale Delivery

  • Lead the regional Professional Services team and business with strong financial and operational discipline.
  • Oversee delivery performance, resource planning, utilization, project profitability, forecasting, and overall business performance for the region based upon global standards.
  • Drive consistent use of methodologies, governance practices, tools, and operating metrics to improve scalability, predictability and delivery quality based upon global standards.
  • Proactively identify and manage, with executive intervention, operational risks, resource constraints, and delivery challenges.

 

Scale Through Partnerships and Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Support, Finance, HR, and other key stakeholders to deliver an integrated customer experience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners to ensure successful execution across Kinaxis-led, partner-led, and joint delivery engagements.

 

Enable Innovation and Future Growth

  • Champion adoption of new technologies, including AI-enabled delivery capabilities, to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.
  • Help shape the future of Professional Services through innovation, continuous improvement across operating practices, organizational capability building, and scalable delivery models.

 

What We're Looking For

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Professional Services, Consulting, Enterprise Software, or SaaS organizations, including 10+ years’ experience leading delivery teams and leaders.
  • Proven track record of supporting and scaling a $50M+ Professional Services portfolio.
  • Strong commercial and operational acumen, including experience with revenue, utilization, forecasting, resource planning, margin management, and delivery performance.
  • Experience working with strategic system integrators, subcontractor partners, and broader delivery ecosystems.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise software implementation methodologies and customer delivery best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through change, ambiguity, growth, and evolving customer expectations while maintaining team engagement and delivery discipline.
  • Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of the supply chain industry, market conditions, customer transformation needs, and competitive dynamics.
  • Experience leveraging AI, automation, or scalable delivery models to improve services effectiveness is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support project engagements, executive customer interactions, partner alignment, and internal leadership activities.
