RavenPack is hiring a VP of Content Partnerships to lead content and data acquisition for Bigdata.com, the LLM grounding platform for financial services. This role is central to our strategy. Bigdata.com only becomes more valuable to clients as we bring more high-quality, licensable content onto the platform, and you will be the person driving that pipeline.

You will identify, pitch, and close partnerships with data providers of all types: established market data vendors, alternative data providers, and recognizable consumer and enterprise brands with proprietary content worth licensing. You'll need to speak fluently to what an investment analyst actually does with data, so you can identify which content sets matter, frame the commercial pitch in terms partners understand, and negotiate licensing terms that work for both sides. A working knowledge of Generative AI and the technical realities of how content gets ingested, structured, and served through an LLM grounding platform will help you have credible conversations with both provider side technical teams and our own product and engineering teams.

This is a senior, highly visible role reporting directly to the Chief Data Officer, with regular exposure to executive leadership. You will own the partnership strategy end to end, from sourcing and pitching through legal negotiation and go live, and will be expected to build a pipeline, not just execute against one handed to you. You will be expected to lead a team and build it further as the partnership function scales.

We want you to hit the ground running and we will be right there with you every step of the way.

In your first month, you will spend time getting deeply familiar with Bigdata.com: the platform, its current content catalogue, and the roadmap ahead. You will meet the Product, Engineering, and Legal teams who will be your closest collaborators, and you will begin mapping the content partnership landscape, understanding which providers are already in conversation and where the biggest opportunities lie. This is your discovery phase, and we encourage you to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and start forming your own point of view on where to focus first.

By the six-month mark, you will have made this role your own. You will have a structured partnership pipeline in place, with active negotiations underway across a diverse mix of providers, from established market data vendors to alternative data shops to recognizable content brands. You will report regularly on progress and commercial impact to the senior leadership team, represent RavenPack at industry events, and start to shape the team around you. Most importantly, you will have closed deals that make Bigdata.com measurably more valuable to the financial professionals who rely on it every day.

  • Own the partnership strategy for Bigdata.com content acquisition, identifying and prioritizing providers that expand the platform's value to financial professionals.
  • Build and manage relationships with a diverse mix of providers: market data vendors, alternative data providers, and recognizable brands with licensable content.
  • Lead commercial negotiations from first outreach through signed agreement, partnering closely with legal on licensing terms, redistribution rights, and usage restrictions.
  • Translate investment analyst use cases into a compelling pitch for why a provider's content belongs on Bigdata.com.
  • Work with Product and Engineering to scope how new content sets get ingested, structured, and made available through the platform's GenAI grounding capabilities.
  • Manage the partnership pipeline and report progress, blockers, and revenue impact to the CDO and leadership team.
  • Represent RavenPack at industry events and in direct outreach to build a network of provider relationships.
  • Stay current on the competitive landscape for data marketplaces and GenAI grounding platforms, and use that intelligence to sharpen partnership strategy.
