Full Job Description
The VP of Commercial Strategy (VPC) is responsible for 1)leading business growth, top-line revenue optimization across the entireportfolio of hotels, 2) bridge the gap between sales, marketing, and finance toensure predictable revenue and strategic market expansion, 3) partner with sales team in supporting overall deal management,structuring, pricing, financial modeling and analysis, and 4) Negotiatescomplex agreements and builds strategic relationships with key corporateclients or institutional partners. The VP of Commercial Strategy collaborateswith executives in finance, marketing, and revenue management to translatehigh-level strategies into executable commercial plans to drive revenuegeneration and market positioning through comprehensive strategic planning.
• Provide business, pricing, and support to Sales forcomplex, and/or nonstandard transactions.
• Serves as a trusted advisor to the field on pricing,margins, deal structure, and business terms.
• Develop and implement holistic commercial strategies thatintegrate sales, revenue management, and marketing efforts to achievecomprehensive revenue targets and market share growth across the portfolio ofhotels.
• Provide a "hands-on" approach to complexsituations or escalations and work throughout departments to provide aresolution while maximizing revenue/bookings.
• Ensure that complex transactions are operationalized andcommunicated to all relevant parties to provide visibility and awareness too.
• Partner with Revenue Management team to provide analysisaround trends in customer requests and pricing.
• Develop and implement holistic commercial strategies thatintegrate sales, revenue management, and marketing efforts to achievecomprehensive revenue targets and market share growth across the portfolio.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, strategicnetworking events, and leadership forums to enhance brand visibility andgenerate innovative business opportunities.
• Promote the company by demonstrating a"top-notch" attitude toward our "customers" which includes ourguests, team members, vendors and brand partners.
• Partner with ownership on high-impact initiativesrenovations and repositioning the portfolio to redefine our market position,brand identity, and target audience to maximize RevPAR, ADR, and overall ROI.
• Deliver executive-level reporting and insights, includingportfolio performance reviews, variance analysis, and forward-lookingprojections
