Job Description

Job Summary**

The VP Financial Services Operations will lead and optimize operational functions within SS&C GIDS, Inc., ensuring efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction across various financial products and services.

Job Responsibilities**

* Develop and execute strategic operational plans that align with SS&C GIDS's business objectives and growth initiatives.
* Oversee and manage day-to-day operations for multiple financial services lines, including but not limited to fund administration, transfer agency, and compliance services.
* Drive continuous process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
* Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational effectiveness and service level agreements (SLAs).
* Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, technology, product development, and client service teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
* Manage vendor relationships and outsourced operational functions as needed.
* Act as a key liaison with clients, addressing operational concerns and ensuring exceptional service quality.
* Prepare and present operational reports and analyses to senior management.
* Identify and implement best practices in financial services operations.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
* 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in financial services operations, with a proven track record of managing large teams and complex operational functions.
* Deep understanding of financial products and services, including alternative investments (e.g., hedge funds, private equity), mutual funds, and managed accounts.
* Extensive knowledge of financial regulations (e.g., SEC, FINRA, GDPR, AML/KYC) and industry best practices.
* Demonstrated experience in driving operational efficiency improvements, process automation, and technology adoption.
* Strong leadership, people management, and team-building skills.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Proficiency in financial software systems and operational platforms.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
