The Doctor's Company has an opportunity for a Vice President Enterprise Project Office. This is a hybrid opportunity depending on the final candidate's location from a company office.
Position MissionThe Vice President, Enterprise Project Office (EPO) is responsible for managing the organization's enterprise portfolio of strategic initiatives, including the project planning and execution of large initiatives, ensuring alignment, execution discipline, and delivery of measurable business value. This role partners closely with executive leadership to drive transformation across operations, technology, and business functions, while establishing governance, prioritization, and accountability frameworks that accelerate outcomes and strengthen organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in enterprise project leadership, transformation, operations, strategic initiatives, or related functions
- Demonstrated success leading complex, enterprise-wide portfolios and high-priority strategic initiatives from concept through implementation.
- Strong experience leading business transformation efforts involving process redesign, operational modernization, technology enablement, and organizational change.
- Knowledge of AI, automation, workflow optimization, and digital enablement strategies preferred.
- Experience within insurance, financial services, healthcare, or another regulated industry preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, change management, and stakeholder engagement skills required.
ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Digital Transformation, Orchestration & Execution- Manage high-priority strategic initiatives from concept through implementation.
- Orchestrate alignment across business, operational, technology, and vendor stakeholders to accelerate execution.
- Establish clear ownership, accountability, governance, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Serve as the executive accountable for ensuring strategic initiatives deliver intended business value and organizational impact.
Enterprise Operations & Process Optimization- Partner to modernize and harmonize core insurance operations across underwriting, claims, risk management, customer and partner engagement, and supporting functions.
- Design and orchestrate workflows that connect people, processes, technology, data, and decision-making into cohesive operating models.
- Drive workflow automation, process simplification, operational efficiency, and scalable service delivery
- Reimagine employee and customer experiences through modern digital, conversational, and mobile-first engagement models.
AI, Automation & Digital Enablement- Identify practical, accountable applications of AI that improve productivity, decision-making, and service delivery.
- Partner with enterprise AI teams that create scale, consistency, governance, and competitive differentiation.
- Partner with business leaders to move AI from experimentation into measurable operational outcomes.
- Champion a Human-First approach to AI that augments and amplifies human capability and intelligence while preserving human judgment, agency, and accountability - serving to strengthen customer and regulatory trust.
Strategic Partner Ecosystem Leadership- Build and manage productive relationships with key technology, consulting, and service partners.
- Orchestrate collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to maximize investment value and execution success.
People Leadership, Culture & Talent- Clearly define and communicate team roles, expectations, and responsibilities.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support to help employees achieve performance and development goals.
- Deliver consistent, constructive feedback to recognize achievements, address challenges, and reinforce desired behaviors.
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and ensure timely completion of performance review cycles, maintaining alignment and accountability.
- Hold staff accountable for compliance with organizational policies and standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability by encouraging team members to pursue new challenges and opportunities.
Learning, Development, & Compliance- Maintain full compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and established standards (e.g. accurately recording time worked, Submitting PTO, mandatory corporate training)
- Keep technical knowledge and skills current to effectively support department priorities.
- Complete all performance and development activities including the performance review process in a timely manner.
- Fulfill all required training and development obligations to maintain essential skills and credentials.
- Complete all mandatory compliance courses on time, meeting corporate training standards.
Other Duties Assigned- Support enterprise and departmental objectives by taking on assigned projects and delegated tasks with accountability, attention to detail, and timely execution.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance business efficiency and strengthen organizational effectiveness.
- Proactively provide regular updates to leadership on project status, deliverables, and outcomes.
Salary Range:
$179,349 - $235,986Compensation varies based on skills, knowledge, and education. We consider factors such as specialized skills, depth of knowledge in the field, and educational background to ensure fair and competitive pay.
