This role moves beyond traditional maintenance to treat the company's entire repertoire across all lifecycle stages as a dynamic, high growth engine. Reporting to the SVP, Commerce, this executive operates as a key leader within the company's organizational framework, ensuring catalog priorities are seamlessly integrated into label business planning and coordinated across territories, Relationship Management, and Services teams. Leading a high-performing team including a Senior Director and a Director, this leader ensures the existing repertoire is positioned for cultural resurgence, algorithmic dominance, and sustained global P&L growth.
What You'll Do:

  • Global Strategy & Market Growth: Build and own the Global Catalog roadmap in partnership with the SVP, establishing the operating protocols and KPIs that shift the organizational mindset toward total repertoire value. Ensure catalog priorities are fully integrated into label business planning and cross-functionally coordinated across global territories, Relationship Management, and Services teams.
  • Commercial P&L & Multi-Pillar Execution: Assume full accountability for the Catalog division's financial health and revenue targets. Develop and execute catalog strategies that span multiple revenue pillars; aligning the approach across the full lifecycle of artists and repertoire to maximize global market share.
  • Executive Partnership & Commercial Influence: Partner at the highest level with Label Heads and Global Commerce Leads to architect proactive catalog strategies that turn creative repertoire into global revenue. Drive cross-functional alignment across all commercial pillars (DSPs, Physical, D2C, Radio, YouTube Ad Sales and Brand Partnerships) to directly influence release cycles and unlock bespoke, first to market commercial opportunities.
  • Cultural & Commercial Lifecycle Management: Act as the central architect for maximizing repertoire impact across the organization. Partner closely with Commerce, Marketing, and Relationship teams to identify culturally relevant moments, artist narratives, and timing that can unlock catalog growth and resurgence, ensuring catalog moments are integrated into wider cultural campaigns.
  • Technology & Scalable Decision Making: Partner with the Analytics team to embed data driven decision making across the division. Leverage data, tools, automation, and predictive modeling to scale catalog optimization globally, building repeatable systems that improve efficiency, performance, and viral forecasting.
  • Leadership & Team Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and empower a specialized team. Foster a culture of innovation where every catalog asset is treated with the urgency, creativity, and strategic nuance of a new release.

Who You Are:

  • Industry Mastery: 15+ years in digital commerce, marketing, or distribution, with a significant background in project management and cross-functional global coordination.
  • Proven Builder: A track record of building departments, startups, or specialized business units from the ground up, with experience integrating teams into broader operating systems.
  • Lifecycle & Model Expertise: Deep understanding of the intersection between all commerce channels and economic models (frontline, services, distribution) to create a 360-degree global strategy.
  • Financial Acumen: Advanced experience in P&L management and revenue modeling. Comfortable utilizing data tools and automation to drive scalable, global optimization.
  • Strategic Leverage: A robust network of senior tier relationships across global commerce platforms and DSPs, with a proven track record of shaping platform strategy and securing high impact positioning for repertoire.
  • Cultural & Narrative Alignment: A strong intuitive sense for music culture, A&R narratives, and timing, with the ability to balance data-driven insights with creative storytelling.

  • A modern, diverse and creative work environment.
  • An investment in your learning & development.
  • A comprehensive and attractive benefits package including healthcare coverage, life insurance, generous leave policies, 401K + employer matching, Winter recess, voluntary benefits, industry-leading mental health and fertility coverage, family resources and education financial assistance.
