Position Summary

The VP, Application Managed Service Delivery is a high-impact executive leadership role for a proven operator who can scale a global Application Managed Services business while improving profitability, client value, and delivery excellence. You will own the AMS function end to end, lead a globally distributed organization, and shape how services are designed, sold, delivered, measured, and continuously improved. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial and operational instincts with the ability to modernize delivery through process discipline, automation, AI, tooling, organizational design, and service innovation.
  • Own a strategic global services business with direct influence on growth, client outcomes, and margin performance.
  • Lead the transformation of delivery through operational rigor, technology enablement, and scalable service innovation.
  • Partner across Sales, Professional Services, Product, Support, and other leadership teams to shape differentiated offerings and market success.

You will be expected to build a high-performing organization, elevate the economics of the business, and help define the next generation of managed services offerings for the company and its clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead the global Application Managed Services organization with full accountability for strategy, operating model, service delivery, organizational performance, and business results.
  • Improve profitability and scalability by simplifying delivery, optimizing cost structure, increasing productivity, and strengthening operational discipline.
  • Modernize service delivery through automation, AI-enabled capabilities, tooling, standard processes, and innovative delivery techniques.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team and leadership bench across a global, matrixed environment.
  • Define and manage the metrics that matter, including business health, service performance, client satisfaction, workforce effectiveness, revenue, and margin.
  • Create compelling ways to demonstrate customer value through business outcomes, efficiency gains, risk reduction, and strategic impact-not just service-level compliance.
  • Partner closely with Professional Services to create a roadmap for transforming selected project-based offerings into scalable managed services solutions.
  • Work with the Sales organization to enable effective positioning, messaging, and commercialization of AMS offerings.
  • Help shape, package, and launch new services that align with market demand and company strategy.
  • Represent the AMS business in client-facing conversations, strategic pursuits, and executive-level cross-functional planning.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and emerging technologies, translating relevant innovation into practical business value.


Education
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

  • United States (remote, with travel as required)


Experience
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in application managed services, enterprise application services, ERP services, or a closely related environment.
  • A track record of owning a delivery organization or business unit with responsibility for service quality, client outcomes, and financial performance.
  • Demonstrated success improving margins through cost optimization, process transformation, automation, or operating model redesign.
  • Experience implementing or scaling delivery-enabling platforms, tooling, or AI-driven capabilities.
  • Strength in executive-level customer engagement, strategic account leadership, and cross-functional influence.
  • Experience leading globally distributed teams and driving change in complex, matrixed organizations.

The general salary range for this type of role is 186k - 232k depending on skills and experience. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be based on several factors such as: a candidate's location, and the level of applicable skills and professional experience. Rimini's target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant's Interview process.
