Virtual Advisor, Global Transaction Banking (Payments and Cash Management)

About the Opportunity:

Join a high-performing Global Transaction Banking team within Canadian Commercial Banking and play a key role in helping clients optimize their cash management and banking solutions. In this client-focused, sales-driven role where you will work closely with Client Relationship Managers to deliver tailored payment, cash management, and deposit solutions that help clients achieve their growth objectives and financial goals.

You will build strong client relationships, identify opportunities to deepen relationships, and contribute to portfolio growth while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and the Bank's risk framework.

How You Will Make an Impact:

As a Virtual Advisor (formerly Senior Specialist), GTB (Payments and Cash Management), you will:

  • Provide advisory support and customized solutions across the Bank's suite of cash management, payment, deposit, and investment products.
  • Partner with Client Relationship Managers to manage and grow client portfolios.
  • Support revenue growth, deposit generation, primary client acquisition, and partner referrals.
  • Proactively engage clients and prospects by analyzing banking needs, financial data, and business plans.
  • Conduct disciplined pre-call planning to identify opportunities and deliver value-added recommendations.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships while leveraging the Bank's broader capabilities and resources.
  • Ensure all business activities align with the Bank's risk appetite, compliance requirements, and operational standards.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions.


Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of treasury management, liquidity solutions, and commercial deposit products.
  • Familiarity with commercial banking sales processes and portfolio management.
  • Understanding of AML/ATF, sanctions, compliance, and operational risk requirements.
