Job Description

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist to join our Pershing Treasury team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

Support Treasury activities for the BNY Pershing broker-dealer, with a focus on cash and liquidity management, and the production of recurring Treasury reporting and presentation materials.
• Support daily US and International funding actions prioritizing timely and efficient funding of firm requirements, while ensuring adherence to departmental procedures and compliance with internal and regulatory risk limits.
• Provide support to functions involving maintenance of firm margin requirements, intraday liquidity funding, use of credit facilities, retail banking activities, and fee management.
• Support the production of slides, dashboards and other presentation materials for various governance bodies (e.g., ALCO, Board of Managers, etc.)
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support reporting automation and efficiency initiatives, including through fluency in the use of AI
• Provide analytical support for Treasury projects, forecasting, and related ad hoc requests, engaging with peers across Pershing and BNY.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in finance or economics, with proficiency in math, statistics, or computational finance preferred. Work towards MBA, CFA preferred; willingness to pursue FINRA licenses, as needed.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Treasury, Finance, Risk, Accounting, Operations, or reporting within financial services. Prior experience in Treasury, broker-dealer, capital markets, or financial reporting environments a plus.
  • Command of liquidity, funding, balance sheet management, and asset liability management concepts and/or operational settlement flows for different security types.
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency conducting analysis and process automation with Excel, AI and other reporting/automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate, etc.)

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
