Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, strategic VP of Production to lead our manufacturing operations. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee the entire production lifecycle-from supply chain and procurement to assembly and shipping. You will be tasked with scaling our operations, optimizing efficiency, ensuring top-tier product quality, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Operations
  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules are met safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Develop and execute production strategies that align with the company's short-term and long-term revenue goals.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles (e.g., 5S, Six Sigma) to reduce waste and optimize production costs.

Quality & Safety
  • Maintain rigorous quality control standards to minimize defects, reduce scrap, and guarantee 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Enforce OSHA compliance and cultivate a proactive culture of workplace safety.

Team Management & Development
  • Lead and mentor the production team, including plant managers, supervisors, and floor staff.
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics for the production floor, conducting regular performance reviews and driving accountability.

Supply Chain & Inventory
  • Manage procurement and inventory levels, balancing the need to fulfill orders quickly while minimizing carrying costs.
