JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Product Partnerships Vice President in Commerce Payments, you will explore, grow, and manage partnerships with card networks and digital commerce and wallet providers. You will translate partner opportunities into clear roadmaps, business cases, and delivery plans, and you will communicate progress and decisions with senior stakeholders.

Job responsibilities

  • Own strategic partner relationships, including governance, follow-ups, and quarterly business reviews

  • Align joint roadmaps, manage escalations, and drive timely decisions with partner and internal stakeholders

  • Identify new partnership-led opportunities, size potential impact, and define success metrics and adoption plans

  • Build structured business cases and commercialization plans for new capabilities and partner launches

  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Product teams to structure and negotiate commercial terms and contract concepts

  • Evaluate, onboard, and operationalize new partners and new ecosystem capabilities

  • Translate partnership opportunities into product requirements and delivery plans with product, technology, and design teams

  • Collaborate with risk, controls, compliance, and legal partners to maintain a strong risk and controls environment

  • Oversee production issues impacting partners and drive resolution plans, timelines, and accountability

  • Monitor performance against agreed goals, identify gaps, and lead remediation or enhancement plans

  • Deliver executive-ready updates on strategy, progress, risks, trade-offs, and key decisions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a comparable field

  • 7+ years of experience in financial services, digital products, product management, or partnerships

  • Experience in card payments, including card networks, digital wallets, and e-commerce payments

  • Demonstrated experience owning partner relationships, governance, and delivery against commitments

  • Demonstrated ability to develop new products or partnerships from discovery through launch

  • Experience supporting commercial discussions, including incentives, performance constructs, and business case development

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, dependency management, risk/issue tracking, and delivery against timelines

  • Proven ability to influence and drive decisions across cross-functional stakeholders

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communication

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with tokenization and digital wallet provisioning concepts and operating models

  • Experience working with partner certification processes, launch readiness, and production support workflows

  • Experience partnering closely with technology and design teams to deliver customer-facing payment capabilities
