Job DescriptionJob Summary:
The Vice President of Product Management for the Integrated Risk Platform leads the strategic vision, design, and execution of our enterprise-grade AI fraud prevention ecosystem. You will build highly scalable, reusable core capabilities that power fraud detection, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC) and more workflows. The platform serves a dual-sided ecosystem, protecting both global merchant networks and major financial institutions.
In this role, you will champion a hybrid platform strategy: architecting and combining proprietary, high-performance in-house AI engines, rules management, and case workflows, while strategically integrating extensible third-party data and niche vendor services into a seamless orchestration layer, and a dynamic UX and Agentic workflow.
This is a highly visible, strategic leadership role, requiring a progressive leader, who embraces change and new technologies, collaborates by default, and inspires team members and colleagues to achieve the unthinkable. You will embrace complexity, work well in a matrix, and earn followership from those around you. You're well along the AI adoption curve, and are comfortable experimenting with the latest tools, so you can lead with credibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Vision & Hybrid Platform Architecture:
- Define the Platform Roadmap: Shape the multi-year product strategy for core AI-driven trust, verification, and risk engines.
- Execute a Hybrid Strategy: Direct the "build vs. buy" framework, driving core proprietary development while ensuring external data vendors plug-and-play into internal systems seamlessly.
- Drive Reusability: Architect modular APIs and shared services configured easily for both merchant risk and bank compliance.
- Lead Product Teams: Direct and mentor a high-performing team of technical product managers and data strategists.
- Integrate and decommission legacy product stack: Lead with a platform mindset, connecting legacy tech stacks and point solutions through a platform delivery mindset, anchoring everything in the context of the platform. Bringing technology, team members and customer rapidly on the journey.
AI, Rules, & Platform Engineering:
- Deploy Advanced AI: Champion the use of machine learning, graph neural networks, and generative AI for real-time anomaly detection. Partner with SME's to solve complex client problems using best-in-breed solutions.
- Design Proprietary Rules Management: Build an intuitive, low-code internal rules engine allowing risk teams to test, deploy, simulate, and update policy logic instantly without engineering sprints.
- Scale Data Infrastructure: Partner with Engineering to ingest, process, and analyze petabytes of global transaction data with millisecond latency.
- Standardize Workflows: Create reusable identity verification (KYC) and transaction monitoring (AML) frameworks.
Operations & Case Management:
- Build Unified Case Management: Own the product lifecycle for a highly tailored in-house investigator UI, optimizing fraud queue routing and workflow automation. Whilst also future proofing for more agentic solutions including fraud ops.
- Incorporate GenAI: Integrate generative AI assistants into case management to summarize complex risk signals and accelerate analyst decision-making.
- Optimize Audit Trails: Ensure all rule changes, AI risk scores, and analyst actions automatically generate regulatory-grade audit trails.
Cross-Functional & Commercial Impact:
- Collaborate Globally: Align with Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Security teams to meet global regulatory requirements (e.g., BSA, GDPR).
- Enable Commercial Teams: Equip product marketing and sales with platform capabilities to solve complex B2B client needs.
