JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Product Manager in Digital Channels, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
This role leads the product strategy and operating standards for how pages, surfaces, and content are built across the Chase mobile app and website. You will manage a team of Product Managers to establishstandards for analytic event instrumentation, metadata and taxonomy labels, and engineering architecture. Working across product, engineering, design, data, you willbuild capabilities to enforce these standards to improve consistency, measurement, scalability, and reuse across digital experiences.
Job responsibilities
  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Builds thelong termstrategy to scale the product area
  • Influences cross-functional team to deliver against roadmapand vision
  • Manages and develops two Product Managers, setting clear priorities, coaching performance, and building product management capability
  • Defines and governs reusable build standards for analytics and event instrumentation, metadata and taxonomy, and engineering architecture across all Chase app and website pages, surfaces, and content
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Demonstrated ability to set product vision, translate enterprise standards into clear requirements and roadmaps, and define measurable outcomes
  • Strong track record of partnering with engineering, architecture, design, data, analytics, and content teams to deliver scalable platform capabilities
  • Expertise using data to guide product decisions, including defining event instrumentation, measurement frameworks, data quality expectations, and success metrics
  • Experience establishing and governing metadata, taxonomy, analytics, or engineering standards across complex digital products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to align senior stakeholders and explain complex technical standards to diverse audiences
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • People management experience, including directly managing and developing Product Managers
  • Experience leading platform or governance products that span multiple customer journeys, pages, surfaces, or content types
  • Experience creating and scaling standards for digital analytics, metadata and taxonomy, content models, APIs, or engineering architecture across mobile and web channels
  • Experience driving enterprise adoption of reusable components and standards through operating models, documentation, tooling, and measurable controls
