Note: This position is hybrid can be located in Nashville, Atlanta or New Jersey office.

Day-to-day responsibilities:
  • Develop financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction and option pricing analyses
  • Conduct valuation analysis on a diverse range of illiquid investments distributed across industries and geographies, employing established and relevant approaches and theory
  • Be proactive and self-motivated, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and delivering actionable results within tight deadlines
  • Manage teams of senior associates and analysts
  • Conduct client Interviews, including face-to-face meetings, to gather essential data and information for engagements
  • Collaborate with internal and external management teams to cultivate and strengthen client relationships
  • Identify and communicate potential engagements to management and leading the engagement proposal process
  • Present analyses and conclusions verbally and in written reports
  • Participate in relevant industry events to expand knowledge and gain experience within the alternative asset industry


Essential traits:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or MBA
  • Minimum 3 years of developing and reviewing valuation models and other financial models including: DCF, comparable company, commodity contracts / forecasts, and contingent claims analysis
  • Proficient in data analysis and business intelligence techniques
  • Experience in managing diverse engagement teams and clients
  • Working knowledge of authoritative guidance related to valuation (AICPA Guide, ASC 820 and IFRS 13), valuation industry best practices and emerging issues
  • Familiarity with software packages like Alteryx, Tableau, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of market data sources such as Bloomberg and S&P Capital IQ
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on representing diverse communities
