JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Vice President of Strategic Business Management in Chase Auto Retail & Consumer, you will lead the business growth strategic agenda and promote end-to-end delivery of priority initiatives in partnership with Product, Finance, Data & Analytics, Marketing, Risk/Controls, Legal, Compliance, and Operations. You will report to the Head of Strategic Business management, Chase Auto Retail & Consumer and serve as a day-to-day advisor to senior leaders.

Job responsibilities

  • Build clear strategies, translate them into executable work, and drive measurable outcomes through disciplined routines and stakeholder management.
  • Own the Business growth roadmap: growth levers, sequencing, dependencies, and success measures (volume, profitability, retention, experience).
  • Identify and develop new growth opportunities across channels and partners; turn ideas into approved, funded initiatives.
  • Partner with General Managers and Sales leadership to shape and execute dealer programs; support negotiations and contract amendments as needed.
  • Lead cross-functional execution from problem definition through implementation, including business cases, requirements, testing, and launch readiness.
  • Drive segmentation and offer/pricing/term optimization work in partnership with Finance and Analytics; ensure decisions are grounded in data and customer impact.
  • Build executive-ready narratives for weekly/monthly leadership forums; run tight decisioning and follow-ups.
  • Establish OKRs, track performance, and surface risks early with clear asks and options.
  • Monitor market/competitor trends and translate insights into recommendations.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 6+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, business management, or growth roles.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving; can simplify complex topics into crisp leadership materials.
  • Strong analytics, executive communication, and a track record of delivering complex programs in large organizations.
  • Proven ability to influence across teams and levels; comfortable operating with ambiguity and tight timelines.
  • Hands-on program delivery: scoping, planning, governance, risk management, and execution through launch.
  • Bachelor27s degree required.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of post MBA experience.
  • Consulting experience, especially with strategy-to-execution work.
  • Experience in Financial Services.
  • Experience using AI/automation to improve decisioning, servicing, or operating efficiency.
