Full Job Description
Pay $114,400 annually

The Vice President Community Services provides leadership and oversight to the Adult/Community Services Division. The Vice President Community Services is responsible to work collaboratively with the Sr. Vice President of Adult Services to develop and operate systems and services across the division ensuring alignment of goals and objectives.

The person filling this position will be charged with developing the highest quality of service for families and the highest standard of compliance with appropriate regulatory and funding bodies. The Vice President will promote performance results through implementation of department work plans which relate to division objectives and the organizational strategic plan. Given the nature of the division services, the Vice President will develop and nurture relationships with key community constituents and partners.

Core Responsibilities
  • Establish culture and work environment within the departments which supports consumer and family centered services.
  • Oversee processes to determine customer requirements, expectations and how relationships with customers are built.
  • Establish cross divisional approach to development of family support services.
  • Develop processes and systems which ensure compliance with Medicaid standards and OPWDD quality regulations.
  • Review, analyze and manage fiscal aspects of programs to ensure programs meet or exceed fiscal goals in order to sustain level of support and services.
  • Will factor into the Administrator On-Call rotation which covers division residential services three - five weekends per year.
  • Maintain positive relationships with consumers, families, community organizations, referral sources and governing bodies.
  • Maintain consistent awareness of the environment external to the Agency that may impact service delivery.
  • Gather and analyze information and data in order to make process improvement, achieve performance results against strategic objectives.
  • Model, promote and support organizational performance values.
  • Ensure opportunities for staff development and maintain a work environment conducive to performance excellence with full participation of individuals and teams.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • Must have a valid NYS Driver's License. Travel is required.
