Full Job Description
Position Summary

The Vice President of Marketing plays a critical leadership role in leading the marketing function for maximizing the commercial performance of Rytelo in the US by driving market share growth, accelerating physician adoption, and leading the development and execution of winning brand strategies. The Vice President serves as the strategic architect of the brand, translating corporate objectives into impactful customer-focused strategies and flawless execution, and serving as a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team (CLT).

This position will report to the Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Own brand performance and accountability for achieving revenue, prescription, market share, and profitability objectives
  • Develop and execute strategies to accelerate product adoption and drive sustainable growth across targeted customer segments
  • Continuously assess performance against key metrics and rapidly adjust strategies to optimize results
  • Establish and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that differentiates the product and strengthens competitive positioning
  • Lead the development and deployment of omnichannel promotional campaigns that drive physician engagement and prescribing behavior
  • Ensure marketing resources are focused on the highest-value initiatives and customer segments
  • Drive execution excellence through rigorous planning, measurement, and optimization
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to align strategic objectives and field execution
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs to ensure scientific differentiation is effectively communicated while maintaining compliance
  • Work with Market Access to address reimbursement challenges and expand patient access
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation decisions across the commercial organization
  • Attract, manage, coach, develop, and retain a talented central and regional marketing team to effectively achieve the mission and stated objectives, ensuring a highly engaged and accountable team culture

Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or life sciences required; advanced degree preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in marketing function in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Significant product launch experience in a senior/executive level marketing leadership position with substantial, hands-on commercial experience in hematology or oncology
  • Extensive experience with developing and executing marketing strategies and tactics, market research and analysis, and business forecasting
  • Strong knowledge and relationships with top tier US Hematology opinion leaders is highly desired

Salary Statement:

Offered compensation is determined based on market data, internal equity, and an applicant's relevant skills, experience, and educational background.

General Salary Range: $315,000 to $340,000
