Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

The VP, Marketing will leverage the company's existing pedigree to make Canon Medical HIT a powerful and well-recognized brand that stand for innovation and though leadership in the field of medical imaging AV, AI and Automation covering prevention, diagnostic and treatment physician communities. Existing and potential customers should be excited to visit the Canon Medical HIT RSNA booth to "touch the future." This role will also be responsible for developing robust processes, tools, and methodologies that enable and empower global sales teams to succeed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a global marketing strategy and implementation plan (web, case studies, thought leadership, collateral, etc.) to assert Canon Medical HIT brand as a visionary and tone-setting vendor in the field of AV, AI, and Automation space
  • Support the Direct sales organizations with timely GTM plans, new release launch collateral and details. Collaborate with Modality Attached HIT marketing to support CMSx sales activities
  • Plan, design and organize tradeshow marketing strategy, positioning and participation
  • Establish productive relationships with the industry's important organizations (e.g., KLAS, RSNA, Aunt Minnie, etc.)
  • Deploy marketing campaigns to generate inbound leads, and develop processes to move MQLs into qualified SQLs
  • Develop processes to measure the ROI for marketing investment and constantly tune the activities to maximize the return
  • Establish a continuous process for gathering global market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer insights
  • Work with upstream marketing, product management, and regional subsidiaries in creating product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonates with the buying audience, providing collateral for use by the regional downstream marketing communications teams for their campaigns and content strategies
  • Lead and manage a globally distributed team while promoting personal accountability, managing for results, and people development


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in the healthcare technology or medical device industry, with a demonstrated track record of success in senior marketing, sales and management roles
  • 7+ years of proven experience leading and managing global marketing teams
  • Extensive experience in healthcare IT and medical imaging domains, with a deep understanding of the physician communities
  • Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive global marketing strategies that have successfully driven brand recognition, customer engagement and market share growth
  • Demonstrated ability to create tools and processes that support and drive sales team effectiveness
  • Experience managing sizeable marketing budgets with an understanding of ROI analysis
  • Experience working on a global scale, with an understanding of diverse markets, and the ability to manage marketing efforts across different regions
