Full Job Description
Position Summary

Blue Owl is seeking a Vice President to join our Investor Relations team with a dedicated focus on expanding awareness, ownership, and engagement of Blue Owl's publicly traded stock among the wealth management ecosystem.

This individual will drive proactive outreach to Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), family offices, multifamily offices, private banks, and other wealth intermediaries to educate investors on Blue Owl's business model, growth strategy, financial performance, and investment merits. The role sits at the intersection of public company investor relations, capital markets, and wealth distribution.

The successful candidate will bring strong relationships within the wealth management community, deep knowledge of public markets, and the ability to communicate a compelling equity story to sophisticated investors.

Key Responsibilities

Shareholder Development & Coverage
  • Develop and execute a shareholder growth strategy focused on expanding ownership of Blue Owl stock among RIAs, family offices, private banks, wealth management firms, and other non-traditional institutional investors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including CIOs, portfolio managers, directors of research, investment committees, and analysts.
  • Identify and cultivate prospective shareholders who fit Blue Owl's long-term investor profile.
  • Conduct regular meetings, calls, roadshows, and educational sessions with prospective and existing investors.
  • Expand Blue Owl's visibility within the wealth management channel and broaden understanding of the firm's investment thesis.

Investor Communications
  • Articulate Blue Owl's public equity story, including business strategy, growth drivers, financial results, industry positioning, and long-term value proposition.
  • Serve as a key external ambassador for Blue Owl with wealth-focused investors and intermediaries.
  • Partner closely with senior management to prepare for investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows.
  • Develop clear, compelling presentations and supporting materials tailored to wealth management audiences.
  • Track competitor positioning and shareholder outreach activities.

Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Partner closely with Investor Relations, Private Wealth Distribution, Corporate Strategy, Finance, and Marketing teams.
  • Coordinate messaging across public company communications and wealth management channels.
  • Support earnings preparation, investor day planning, and other shareholder-facing initiatives.

Qualifications

Required
  • 7-15+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, equity sales, wealth management distribution, capital markets, or institutional business development.
  • Strong understanding of public markets and equity investing.
  • Experience engaging sophisticated investment decision-makers.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior-level external relationships.
  • Strong commercial mindset and ability to operate in a highly entrepreneurial environment.

The base annual salary range for this New York based position will be $175,000 to $200,000. Actual salary offered will be based on the candidate's skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
