We are seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to help lead the next evolution of our people strategy.

This is not a traditional HR leadership role. It is an opportunity for an accomplished, business-minded HR executive to influence enterprise strategy, lead transformation, strengthen organizational capability, and build the talent and culture needed to drive Lifespace forward.

Your Impact

As Vice President Human Resources, you will:
  • Shape enterprise people strategy aligned with Lifespace's mission, business priorities, growth strategy, and long-term vision.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor and thought partner to senior and operational leaders, translating business priorities into actionable workforce strategies.
  • Strengthening Lifespace's position as an employer of choice, advancing strategies that attract, engage, develop, and retain exceptional talent.
  • Lead organizational transformation and change, helping leaders and teams successfully navigate an evolving business environment.
  • Advance talent management, succession planning, leadership development, performance, and workforce planning across the enterprise.
  • Lead a competitive and sustainable total rewards strategy, leveraging compensation and benefits to drive performance, engagement, retention, and desired behaviors.
  • Build and develop a high-performing HR organization known for business acumen, expertise, collaboration, accountability, and practical solutions.
  • Champion Lifespace's culture and values, ensuring our Living Lifespace behaviors are embedded throughout the team member experience.
  • Advance practices that foster an inclusive workplace where team members can contribute, grow, and succeed.
  • Develop proactive workforce and retention strategies that anticipate the changing talent needs of the organization.
  • Support M&A due diligence and integration when needed, including organizational design, policies, compensation and benefits, communications, and team member onboarding.


What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
  • Master's degree in HR/OD or MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, including significant leadership across multiple HR disciplines.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing enterprise HR and workforce strategies in complex, fast-paced organizations.
  • Broad HR leadership experience spanning areas such as talent management, organizational development, change management, total rewards, HRIS, workforce planning, leadership development, and performance.
  • Experience leveraging HR technology, analytics, and workforce data to improve business performance.
  • Healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or another complex, distributed, service-oriented operating environment is highly valued.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as business needs require.
