We9re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Structured Debt Client Platform Engineering team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL.

In this role, you9ll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and performant backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
  • Build and enhance modern Angular applications using TypeScript, NgRx for state management, and Nx for managing micro frontend architecture.
  • Architect and contribute to a modular frontend framework supporting multiple apps via Nx workspaces and shared libraries.
  • Develop and consume APIs as part of a distributed microservices environment, with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and testability.
  • Implement structured logging using SLF4J and Log4j, and integrate with monitoring tools and logging aggregators (e.g., Splunk, ELK).
  • Collaborate with DevOps engineers to define and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, ensuring smooth and secure build, test, and deployment workflows.
  • Apply test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) practices using Jasmine, Karma, Cucumber, JUnit, and Mockito.
  • Ensure code quality and security by leveraging tools such as SonarQube and Veracode, with a focus on maintainable and compliant code.
  • Analyze and optimize application performance, database interactions, and service integrations.
  • Ensure data integrity and business logic correctness when integrating with Oracle and relational databases, particularly around MBS-related data structures.
  • Contribute to MBS-focused initiatives such as pool-level data processing, cashflow modeling, investor reporting, and REMIC structures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, analysts, and QA engineers to translate financial domain requirements into working software solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices, and actively mentor junior team members.


To be successful in this role, we9re seeking the following:
  • Bachelor9s degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
  • 5 to 9 years of hands-on experience in software development required with WebLogic Portal and J2EE technologies
  • Experienced in 3-tier, n-tier, cloud computing, microservices architecture
  • Must have hands-on experience with Angular, NgRx, RxJS and micro-frontend
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing microservices using Java/Spring Boot, Node.js
  • Must have hands-on experience with AI assisted application development and integration using AI tools like Windsurf IDE or similar agentic IDEs
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with API concepts and technologies such as REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, YAML, GraphQL, and Swagger
  • Must have hands on experience in writing RESTful webservices using Spring/JAX-RS
  • Experience development using agile methodology using CI/CD pipeline
  • Develop and build microservices leveraging AWS Cloud Services
  • Must have Spring Portlet development experience
  • Must have good working knowledge of HTML, Ajax, JQuery, Java Script.
  • Must have work experience with SVN/GIT or other equivalent source control systems
  • Must have experience with Oracle RDBMS.
  • AWS Cloud development experience and AWS Developer Certification highly desired
  • Experience supporting and/or implementing complex integration projects
  • Must have experience working as part of a large team & also operate independently
  • Experience with secure coding practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Exposure to SOA suite middleware is a plus
  • Experience configuring Web service security policies is a plus
  • Experience with WebCenter ADF Framework and Remote portlet configurations with WebCenter Spaces/Portal is a plus
  • Exposure to PL/SQL is a big plus
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
  • Experience with Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) and products, applications supporting MBS is a huge plus
