Job DescriptionWe're seeking a future team member for the role of
Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our
Sanctions Engineering team within the
Payments Enablement Platform. This role is based in
Pittsburgh, PA.
In this role, you'll make an impact by:
- Leading the design and development of modern full-stack applications that support sanctions screening and payment compliance workflows.
- Building scalable, real-time solutions capable of processing high transaction volumes while maintaining high availability and low latency.
- Partnering closely with Compliance, Financial Crimes, Product Management, Operations, and Architecture teams to deliver regulatory and business-critical capabilities.
- Developing microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures that integrate with enterprise payments and screening platforms.
- Driving modernization initiatives, including cloud-native development, containerization, automation, and platform observability.
- Ensuring software quality through robust testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices.
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Participating in architecture and design reviews and influencing strategic technology decisions across the Payments Enablement Platform.
- Supporting the delivery of solutions that meet regulatory obligations related to sanctions compliance and financial crime prevention.
- Evaluating emerging technologies and introducing innovations that improve operational efficiency and system resilience.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 5-9 years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack development expertise.
- Strong proficiency in modern technologies, including:
- Java
- Spring Boot
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- React or Angular
- Python preferred
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or NoSQL platforms.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
