Vice President, Full Stack Engineer

We9re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full Stack Engineer to join our Markets Engineering team. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA

In this role, you9ll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality, scalable, and resilient applications using Java, Angular, python, and SQL.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Drive best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of our technology platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to technology and risk management.
  • Support the integration of AI and emerging technologies to enhance client and employee experiences.
  • Demonstrate teamwork. Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment aligned with our company culture and values.

To be successful in this role, we9re seeking the following:
  • The job holder should have strong hands-on experience in technical design, development, implementation, and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
  • Must have thorough and demonstrable knowledge with the following technologies: Core Java (and related tools such as Visio Studio/IntelliJ, etc), Core Spring Framework, Python/R Script, webservices, relational databases, GIT, frontend framework such as Angular, etc.
  • Additional requirements include intermediate understanding of security principles, and architecture design principles. Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code. Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites.
  • Bachelor9s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, specifically Agile methodologies.
  • 5 plus years9 experience developing applications using Java, Spring/Spring Boot, python, Angular.
  • Familiarity with Kafka, Hazelcast AWS (S3), AI, JIRA, Confluence.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
