Vice President, Full stack engineer
We9re seeking a future team member for the Vice President, Full-stack engineer role to join the Liquidity Direct team within the Liquidity and Financing Platform organization in Global Markets. This position is based is in Pittsburgh, PA and New York city.
In this role, you9ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Seasoned full-stack software engineer with strong experience in Java, Angular, and Python, delivering scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications.
- Proven track record in building robust backend services, intuitive front-end applications, and integrated full-stack solutions that support complex business and operational workflows.
- Skilled in designing and developing modern application components across APIs, user interfaces, data layers, and automation capabilities in enterprise environments.
- Proficient in leveraging AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate delivery timelines and enhance code quality, driving efficient and reliable software development. Own features end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, deployment, support.
- Strong foundation in test-driven development, with a focus on producing high-quality, resilient software through disciplined engineering practices and comprehensive automated testing.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as TestNG, Selenium, and behavior-driven development methodologies is a plus.
To be successful in this role, we9re seeking the following:
- Bachelor9s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - Advanced degree preferred.
- Typically 5 plus years of experience.
- Use AI tools to accelerate development.
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and enterprise frameworks.
- Build Angular-based UI features with responsive, secure, and maintainable components.
- Leverage Python for automation, scripting, data processing.
- Apply test-driven development practices to improve code quality, maintainability, and delivery confidence.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests across front-end and back-end application layers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver business value.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Support deployment, release processes, CI/CD pipelines, and production issue resolution

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
