Position Reports To: Senior Vice President
Position SummaryThe Vice President of Engineering and Technical Services designs, implements, leads, and oversees all aspects of engineering and design activities for Apache with an unwavering commitment to safety, ethics, quality, people leadership and customer care.
Essential Functions- Collaborates with senior leadership to understand company goals and implements scaffold and Allform engineering design services to meet business objectives.
- Develops standards and procedures to ensure engineering and design standards are met and maintained.
- Manages Allform patents.
- Leads all product development efforts.
- Manages required corporate professional engineering licenses for business operations.
- Reviews and stamps engineering drawings in support of the business Coordinates with 3rd Party Engineering firms as appropriate to stamp engineering drawings.
- Recommends new technology and ideas to improve efficiency in engineering services (i.e. AI implementation)
- Builds, develops, and manages an engineering and design team capable of carrying out company initiatives.

- Upholds all company and customer policies, procedures and guidelines and holds others accountable for doing the same.
- Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, and facilities are in line with the organizations business plan and vision.
- Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
- Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for the designated area/division.
- Establishes and manages the department's budget.
- Presents regular performance reports and metrics to the senior leadership team.
- Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies, industry best practices and trends in engineering within our industry.
- Provides excellent people leadership including delivering constructive and timely feedback on performance, handling disciplinary issues in accordance with company policy and supporting team member development for the betterment of the team member and Apache.
- Represents Apache in industry-recognized organizations, conferences, and events as an active participant and/or in a leadership role.
- Work with the Safety Team to ensure projects personnel adhere to design requirements, while also capable of assisting with accident investigations primarily related to product failures
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering required
- Licensed Professional Engineer seal required
- 7-10 years of leadership experience within the industrial construction/maintenance business
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry as it relates to scaffolding, formwork and shoring.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations for scaffolding design, ACI regulations for formwork and shoring design. Knowledgeable of country / regional standards related to product development (I.e. ANSI, etc.)
- Demonstrated success in creating and articulating complex strategies and plans to both senior management and peers.
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and influence others positively.
- Proven ability to drive strategic direction.
- Executive presence, one who possesses the depth of experience to comfortably interact with senior leaders within the company while remaining accessible to everyone.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Frequent travel to work sites and offices (driving and/or flying).
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
- No adverse environmental conditions expected.
