Overview

Razorfish is a marketing agency that delivers best-in-class media services. And our cross-functional Data Science & Analytics team plays a critical role in enabling marketing automation, shaping more intelligent strategies, and driving continuous improvement.

We are seeking a strategic VP to lead measurement & analytics activities across a portfolio of Razorfish media clients. This role is responsible for leading a team of data practitioners that deliver measurement strategy, testing, reporting and insights. The VP leads and develops team members, and partners closely with internal capability leads, and acts as a trusted advisor to clients.

This is a leadership role - the right candidate is a thought leader, and will be able to effectively influence stakeholders, internally and externally. We are looking for someone that deeply understands the media & marketing technology landscape, who can be help shape strategies and deliver better outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with account leadership to draft scopes of work, outline deliverables, and design staff plans
  • Lead and ensure high-quality outputs across measurement planning, data strategy, reporting automation & dashboarding, and insights
  • Own executive-level presentations in partnership with other discipline leads - inclusive of quarterly business reviews, proposals, annual strategies
  • Participate in new business proposals and presentations as a data science & analytics lead, owning data strategy & measurement related content
  • Contribute to the media Data Science & Analytics practice, including thought leadership, and toolkit & vendor assessments
  • Line management of other team members including coaching, mentorship, and output quality assurance

Qualifications

  • 9-11+ years of experience in media analytics, digital analytics, or marketing analytics
  • Media or digital agency experience highly desired
  • Mastery of paid media measurement approaches, tools, and methodologies
  • Knowledge and demonstrable understanding of key media measurement methodologies (attribution, MMM, incrementality, surveys, etc)
  • Strong understanding of ETL, data transformation, automation, and pipeline architecture
  • Very strong communication and storytelling skills with experience presenting to, and influencing executive level clients
  • Experience leading teams and line managing
  • Ability to lead projects and mentor teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality, data-driven outputs

The benefits offerings listed are available to eligible U.S. Based employees, are reviewed on an annual basis, and are governed by the terms of the applicable plan documents.

Compensation Range: USD $168,150.00 - USD $257,712.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
