VP, Corporate Affairs

Do you know how to help organizations navigate complex reputational challenges while building trust with key stakeholders? Are you energized by helping executives and brands shape narratives, manage issues and engage audiences through thoughtful communications strategies?

As a VP, Corporate Affairs at Zeno, you will lead integrated communications programs for some of the world's most recognized brands and organizations. You will partner with senior clients to develop strategies spanning reputation management, executive visibility, internal communications, crisis and issues management, and national business media relations.

This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial communications leader to shape high-impact programs, deepen client relationships, drive business growth and help clients navigate an increasingly complex stakeholder landscape.

About the Role:
  • Reputation Management & Corporate Strategy: Lead corporate affairs programs spanning reputation management, internal communications and stakeholder engagement. Develop strategies that help clients navigate opportunities, challenges and changing communications environments.
  • Executive Visibility & Thought Leadership: Develop executive positioning and thought leadership programs that elevate leadership voices, strengthen credibility and build trust with key stakeholders.
  • Media Relations & Earned Communications: Develop media relations strategies and lead outreach that generates meaningful coverage across business, trade and industry media while building strong reporter relationships.
  • Crisis & Issues Management: Advise clients through issues, crises and sensitive situations, helping protect and strengthen reputation.
  • Client Leadership & Strategic Counsel: Serve as a senior advisor to clients, providing strategic counsel, leading program planning and solving business and communications challenges.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams while mentoring talent and fostering a collaborative, supportive culture encourages teamwork, development and high-quality client work.
  • Business Growth & Financial Leadership: Manage account performance, forecasting and profitability while identifying opportunities to grow client relationships.


About You:
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate affairs, corporate communications, public relations or related fields within an agency or other fast-paced environment.
  • Deep expertise in reputation management, executive communications, internal communications, crisis communications and media relations.
  • Proven success developing strategic communications programs that drive business and reputational outcomes.
  • Strong background in national business media relations, with success building reporter relationships and securing meaningful coverage.
  • Demonstrated success counseling senior clients and building trusted relationships with executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively about complex business and communications challenges.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and presentation skills, including experience leading client presentations and new business pitches.
  • Strong understanding of traditional and emerging media landscapes and how they shape stakeholder perceptions.
  • Experience identifying growth opportunities and contributing to business development efforts.
  • Proven leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring and developing talent.
  • Collaborative and adaptable mindset with the ability to navigate multiple priorities and evolving client needs.
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI and emerging technologies to deliver high-quality client work more efficiently.


Pay Range: $130,000 - $150,000 USD/yr

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
