Position Description:

CGI is seeking a senior Wealth & Asset Management industry expert to help shape and grow our capabilities in one of the most rapidly evolving areas of financial services. The Vice President Consulting Expert (VCPE) will bring deep, practical industry experience and serve as a trusted advisor to CGI clients, consulting teams, product teams and senior leadership. The role combines industry leadership, business consulting, innovation, client engagement and business development, with a particular focus on strengthening CGI's Wealth & Asset Management capabilities and Digital Wealth Platform.
A background as a financial advisor, investment advisor, associate advisor, wealth associate or similar client-facing wealth professional is strongly preferred.

Industry Leadership & Client Advisory
• Serve as a senior Wealth & Asset Management subject matter expert and trusted advisor to clients and CGI leadership.
• Bring deep knowledge of wealth management operating models, products, client segments and the end-to-end value chain across front, middle and back office.
• Advise senior executives on industry trends, competitive dynamics, regulatory developments and technology-driven disruption.
• Build strong relationships with senior industry executives, partners and market participants, representing CGI through client forums, events and thought leadership.

Business Consulting & Transformation
• Advise clients on business strategy, operating model transformation, client and advisor experience, digital transformation and modernization.
• Translate business challenges into practical strategies, future-state visions and transformation roadmaps.
• Provide industry expertise across digital and hybrid advice, advisor productivity, onboarding and servicing, front-office transformation, product and platform strategy, process modernization, data and analytics, AI and regulatory transformation.
• Lead or support executive workshops, strategy development, business cases and major transformation initiatives.

Innovation & Digital Wealth
• Identify emerging market opportunities, client pain points and new business models that can create value for wealth management organizations.
• Translate industry trends and emerging technologies into differentiated CGI propositions, solutions and consulting offerings.
• Partner with CGI's Digital Wealth Platform, product, technology and consulting teams to shape its value proposition, capabilities, use cases and roadmap.
• Bring the voice of clients, advisors and the market into product strategy, solution design and client demonstrations.

Business Development & Market Growth
• Help develop and progress Wealth & Asset Management opportunities across existing and prospective clients.
• Engage senior client executives to understand strategic priorities, business challenges and transformation agendas.
• Shape compelling propositions that combine industry expertise, consulting capabilities and CGI's Digital Wealth Platform.
• Support opportunity qualification, solution positioning, proposals, RFPs, business cases, executive presentations and client workshops.
• Build trusted-advisor relationships that lead to broader and longer-term CGI partnerships and contribute to growth objectives.

Thought Leadership & Practice Development
• Develop CGI points of view on the future of Wealth & Asset Management and contribute to research, executive briefings and market-facing content.
• Develop repeatable consulting frameworks, methodologies and propositions that strengthen the practice.
• Coach and mentor consultants and client-facing teams and help build broader Wealth & Asset Management expertise across CGI.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The successful candidate will bring a combination of deep industry credibility, consulting capability, commercial acumen and a strong understanding of the future of wealth management.
Required
• Significant progressive experience within Wealth & Asset Management, including direct experience with a wealth management, investment management, brokerage, banking, financial planning or related organization.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end wealth management value chain and the relationship between clients, advisors, products, operations, compliance and technology.
• Experience working directly with senior business and technology executives.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business challenges into practical strategies, solutions and measurable outcomes.
• Experience leading or participating in significant business, operating model, digital or technology transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted client relationships and influence senior stakeholders, with strong executive communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
Preferred
• Previous experience as a financial advisor, investment advisor, associate advisor, wealth associate or similar client-facing wealth professional.
• Experience with digital wealth, digital advice, hybrid advice, advisor technology or wealth platform modernization.
• Experience with innovation, product or proposition development and/or consulting sales, solution development, pre-sales or strategic account development.
• Understanding of wealth technology ecosystems and the interaction between front office, portfolio management, trading, operations, data and books-and-records environments.
• Exposure to asset management, investment products, managed solutions and portfolio construction; relevant CFA, CFP, CIM or other wealth/investment qualifications are an asset.

Strengthen CGI's credibility and market presence in Wealth & Asset Management and build trusted relationships with senior executives.
• Originate and shape consulting and transformation opportunities while improving CGI's pre-sales and solution-development effectiveness.
• Strengthen the positioning of CGI's Digital Wealth Platform and turn industry trends and client challenges into differentiated propositions.
• Provide industry leadership on strategic engagements and build Wealth & Asset Management knowledge and capability across CGI.
• Help CGI become a strategic partner to clients as they define and implement the next generation of their businesses.
