Full Job Description
Vice President, Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO) to lead our enterprise technology strategy and help shape the future of senior living. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, this senior leader will oversee information technology, cybersecurity, digital transformation, technology governance, and enterprise IT systems across a growing mission-driven organization.

What You'll Do

As CDIO, you will:
  • Develop and execute Otterbein's enterprise technology and digital strategy.
  • Lead IT operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure, enterprise applications, and service delivery.
  • Partner with senior leaders to modernize systems, improve workflows, and enable innovation.
  • Advance data governance, reporting, analytics, and responsible AI adoption.
  • Strengthen information security, business continuity, compliance, and risk management practices.
  • Establish effective governance and prioritization processes for technology investments and projects.
  • Oversee technology vendors, contracts, budgets, and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and develop a high-performing IT team focused on service, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on technology opportunities, risks, and emerging trends.
  • Integrate IT with Otterbein's broader operating model to further our organizational strategies

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings:
  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Significant senior leadership experience in IT, digital transformation, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, or technology strategy.
  • Success leading complex technology environments, large-scale initiatives, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data governance, analytics, AI enablement, and technology risk management.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business solutions.
  • Experience in healthcare, senior living, nonprofit, multi-site, or other highly regulated environments is strongly preferred.
